{Lori Wilson Photography, Dallas, TX}

One of my best friends from college has recently launched her own photography business in Dallas.  Hooray for her! I am so proud.  She is extremely talented and I wanted to share her some of her work and her brand new web site (launched just last night!)

She photographed my little one in April as she was building her portfolio and has had an avalanche of business in recent months.  She has a wonderful eye for lighting and draws inspiration from any and everything around to give her new ideas. Here are some of my favorite pictures of Lori's, starting with my favorite one she took of Little A...

{One-Year Photo Inspiration}

My Little A took her one-year pics last week.  They turned out amazing (will share link of pics from photographer soon).  We had so many ideas about what we wanted to do for the pictures, and lots of inspiration.

I just love all of these ideas for capturing your baby at such momentous time in his/her life!

{Baby and Friends}

I love ideas for photos, and I'm currently loving the staged baby and friends photos. I mean, is there anything cuter?

{Sister Love}

I have a sister.  A little sister, although we mostly feel like we're the same age. We live exactly four hours apart, and I miss her everyday.  We are only a year apart in age, and as little girls we had a lot of fun together (still do).  I would do anything for her and am so thankful she is in my life.  I'm also thankful our mother spent so much sweat and tears trying to help foster a healthy relationship between us.

All of these sister pics bring back a lot of great memories...

{Oh, Christmas Tree}

Christmas is around the corner.  Here is our little darling about the open presents a few days early this year... She won't remember presents were unwrapped early and use this for leverage for years to come. Right?

We want to capture every magical moment, especially when it's baby's first Christmas. But let's face it: lighting can me a nightmare! I found these tips very helpful for snapping pics in front of the tree:
